As you surveyed the break room, your search yielded only some food and a lone pair of glasses. However, the moment you picked up those glasses, an odd sensation washed over you, causing the entire room to blur and spin. Collapsing to the floor, you instinctively shut your eyes. When you dared to open them again, your surroundings remained distorted, but you fumbled for the glasses and slid them onto your face. Instantly, clarity was restored.

You rose to your feet and hurried over to the coffee machine. Though you were still just an intern, fetching coffee wasn't the most demanding task you'd encountered in this role. If you performed well, perhaps it could catch the boss's attention and lead to a promotion or something even better.
